HTabsOverviewPartector 2 Benefits: The naneos Partector 2 is the world's smallest inultimetric nanoparticle detector. The Partector 2 uses dual non-contact detection stages to measure lung-deposited surface area, particle number concentration and average particle diameter. Additionally, ultrafine particle (UFP) surface and ultrafine particle mass concentrations are calculated and displayed. The 10 key benefits ot’ the Partector 2 compared to traditional nanoparticle detectors, such as handheld CPCs, are: - detects particles down to 10nm- multiple meaningtul metrics- miniature and lightweight- hassle-tree & simple measurements- fast startup time- orientation-independent operation- wide particle concentration range- silent pump- great battery lite- Android app and multiple to IoT direction options Partector 2 Pro Benefits: The naneos Partector 2 Pro is a further development ot the well-established Partector 2. The Pro version ot the Partector 2 can operate in a scanning mode and measure an S-channel size distribution trom 10-300nm. The 10 key benefits ot the Partector 2 Pro version are: - ultrafine particle size distribution measurement from 10-300nm - multiple other particle metrics - miniature and lightweight hassle-free & simple measurements - tast startup time - orientation-independent operation - wide particle concentration range - silent pump - great battery life - size distribution analysis with our freely available Limitations of the Scanning Mode: The size distribution measurement with the Partector 2 Pro comes with some drawbacks that you should be aware of: - The time resolution in the scanning mode is lower than in the standard mode (typically 6 seconds instead of 1 second). - If the aerosol changes during a scan, the Partector 2 Pro measures different aerosols at different times, and the resulting size distribution will be inaccurate - like in other scanning devices. - The size distribution measurement relies on the measurement of small signal differences. The measurements in the scanning mode are generally noisier than in the standard mode. For rapidly changing aerosols or low concentration measurements, the Partector 2 Pro can be operated in the standard (non-scanning) mode. lf you have questions which version is right for your application. please contact us. Long-Term Ambient Measurements: There is a growing interest in tong-term (> 1 year) size distribution measurements in monitoring stations with the Partector 2 Pro instead of complex and expensive scanning mobility particle sizers (SIPS / MPSS). Although first comparative studies with -3 months ot continuous operation are promising, we would like remind you that the P2 was developed as a handheld device and optimized for size and weight. We are in the process of studying the long-term stability of the size distribution calibration, but this necessarily will take some time.
